Presentation standards
The works must be sent in the template designed for this event:
The form of submission of the works includes only the Summary
The Summary will be structured and must be written in the same language in which the work is presented and in English, it should not exceed 500 words. In this there will be a short presentation of the introduction (research problem), objective, methods, results and conclusions.
Keywords: You must place keywords between (3) and (10), separated by semicolon (;), in the same language as the work and in English. It is recommended to use the DeCs thesaurus,

The title and summary are presented
For Spanish or English speaking authors: in Spanish and English.
For Portuguese-speaking authors: in Portuguese, Spanish and English
The Modalities of presentation of the works include:

Keynote Lectures (up to 30 minutes)

Round Table (up to 40 minutes)

Panel (up to 40 minutes)

Free oral topics (up to 15 minutes)

Electronic Posters.
The free oral topics will be presented in thematic sessions. The authors will have ten minutes for the presentation and five minutes for questions and answers. Each work will be assigned within the scientific program the day, place and time of its presentation.

Follow these steps to record your presentation with Power Point

Open the presentation you want to record

Go to the Slide Show tab

Go to Slide Show Settings and customize the settings in the pop-up window

Click Record. A dropdown menu will open with two options, 1) From the current slide and 2) From the beginning. Click on the one you prefer to open the recording window.

Use the icons at the top left to record your presentation. The narration will be recorded through the computer´s microphone and the screen time of each slide.

When the presentation is over (10 minutes) click Options at the bottom of the screen and select End Presentation

Rules for the exhibition of electronic posters
Set the size of a PowerPoint slide

To configure a PowerPoint slide in the necessary size, that is, 90cm wide (horizontal) x 120cm high (vertical), go to File from the toolbar, to de Page Setup section. Once there yo can configure the size of the slide, in this case 90cm x 120xm and the orientation of the slide: horizontal or vertical, in this case vertical.

It must be done on a single Power Point slide in 16:9, vertical format (In Design>Page Setup>Choose "16:9 Screen Presentation">Slide>Choose Orientatoon>"Vertical" )

Save the file with the poster be assigned by the Scientific Committee: For example "167" with a .ppt or .pptx extension and JPEG with a size no larger than 2MB

The organization of the poster must follow the Introduction, Methods, Results and Conclusions format, taking into consideration the images and graphs.

The poster does not present a Summary, the Introduction includes the problem and objectives, the methods must be presented in graphic or schematic form, the results in tables, figures, photos and graphs, the conclusions brief and clear.

Select a preferably plain background in a color that contrasts with the letters of the text.

Use fonts (typography) Arial, Verdana, Tahoma or Calibrí, that are clear for easy reading and in a contrasting color with background.

Do not use more than 2 types of letters.
-
It must be read at least 1 meter away.

The title must be in capital and bold, in a font size no less than 15, the recommended size being 32 points
-
For the rest of the text, use a minimum font size of 9, with the recommended size being 12/14 points.

Images: Use the insert image from file command. Avoid copying and pasting, as this increases the size of the presentation. Reduce the size of the image before inserting it into the slide.

PowerPoint animations and transitions are not supported.

Do not compress (.zip, .rar, etc).
The body of the slide should include:

Title
-
Authors, First Names and Last Names, separated by commas between one author and the other, without specifying academic degree. Declare institutional affiliation of the author.

Up to 4 authors per poster will be accepted.

E-mail: from a single author, preferably the presenter
-
Introducción / Objectives or most relevant information of the presentation

Methods, (Type of study, Population and sample, Methods, Variables, Material, Clinical Case).

Results, Comments, Development. (It is recommended to illustrate with tables, graphs, images, diagrams, among others. Always related to the study)

Conclusions and/or Recommendations.

It is neither mandatory nor recommended to include References. If necessary, put: Recommended readings. You can print several copies of a structured summary (or photoduplication of the poster in A4 size) with bibliographic references or recommended readings and leave it near the monitor so that interested parties can take it. In this case, bring sheets on the first day and hand them in when they are accredited.
Recomendations for the poster or digital sign:

It should have little text and be rich in illustrations.

It should be as synthetic as possible to explain the essence.

It is suggested to use a plain background without ornaments in a color that contrasts with the letters of the text (for example light background and dark letters or vice versa)

Animations are not supported.

The tables, graphs, illustrations and photographs required for the presentation must be sufficiently explanatory and distributed sequentially in order of their explanation. A title must be placed on each of them.

Images must be in JPG format. Remember that the file with the poster must be less than 2MB.

The first author of each work accepted by the Scientific Committee will be notified of the day, time and monitor number to make their presentation.

Send a single poster by email and in the text spedify the full name of each author, with their email address. If it is not returned with suggestions within 10 business days, acceptance is final.

Avoid mentioning trademarks and advertisements.
-
Check the presentation time.
-
Sending the poster implies acceptance of all points of these regulations.
Oficial language:
The event will have simultaneous translation for the official languages, which will be Spanish and English, in the central sessions and others determined by the Scientific Committee.
Audiovisul media:
The audiovisual media required for the presentation must be requested together with the abstract sent.
They must conform to the following specifications:

Data projector.

Computer.
The reports, slides, CDs, supports for lomega Zip, that accompany the work, will be delivered by the speakers themselves to the Audiovisual Media Reception Office that will be set up in the Convention Center, 24 hours in advance of their presentation so that Check for proper order and placement. The video or presentation in digital format will also be reviewed. Media will not be accepted in the work room.
